The Cell

The Cell
Colin Forbes
Pages: 424, Category: Fiction
Publisher: Simon & Schuster

The Cell narrates the organization and eventual destruction of an Al-Qaeda cell in Britain which plans to destroy six bridges across the Thames and thereby isolating London into two halves. The story revolves around Tweed, the head of SIS. Al-Qaeda, which had links all over the world, sets up a cell near London, and the king-pin of the organization was none other than the minister of security, Victor Warner. The plot is unearthed and the cell is destroyed in an operation by the SIS and SAS (whatever those means!)
Very poorly written with a lot of insignificant characters and loose thread, the book fails to enthuse.
Overall rating: 2 Star
